Amahealth Privacy Statement
Welcome to Amahealth. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, store, and share data and insights obtained through the Amahealth platform, including our mobile application NewDate™, clinician dashboard, and integrated wearable device connections.
Amahealth provides tools for monitoring physiological and behavioral data to support maternal health, clinical decision-making, and research.
Your Data
- Your data will not be shared with any third party providers outside of Amahealth without your permission.
- You have the right to request deletion of your raw data. Amahealth will delete any raw data collected from you after such a request has been made within 60 days from notice.
- We operate in alignment with HIPAA compliance standards and implement safeguards to protect your data.

Amahealth collects data from multiple sources, including:
- Wearable Devices (e.g., Oura, Ultrahuman, and other supported integrations)
- User-Reported Information, including:
- Symptoms
- Health surveys
- Pregnancy-related inputs
We do not control how data is initially collected or stored by third-party device manufacturers prior to transmission through their APIs.

Depending on the device, user input, and study or product configuration, we may collect:
Physiological Data

- Inter-beat intervals (IBI)
- Skin temperature
- Respiratory rate
- Sleep metrics (stages, duration, interruptions, trends)
- Electrodermal Activity
Activity Data
- Steps, movement, and activity levels

- Exercise type, duration, and heart rate

Not all devices or users will provide all data types.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used for the following purposes:
- Clinical Support: To provide insights to clinicians through the Amahealth dashboard
- AI and Model Development: To develop, train, validate, and improve machine learning models
- Product Improvement: To enhance Amahealth features, performance, and user experience
- Research and Publications: To conduct scientific research, including collaborations with academic partners
- Display Aggregate Statistics on our Platforms: Examples include aggregated user data for symptoms, distribution of gestational age during birth, etc.
Data Sharing and Processing Restrictions
No Sharing of Raw Wearable Data
Amahealth strictly enforces the following policy:
- Raw data obtained via wearable device APIs is never shared with any third party.
- Such data is not processed by, transmitted to, or made available to any external AI providers or third-party data processing services.
- All processing of wearable-derived data occurs within Amahealth-controlled systems only.
This policy applies universally, including:
- External AI services
- Cloud-based third-party analytics platforms
- Contractors or external vendors
AI-Generated Insights vs. Raw Data
- Amahealth may generate derived insights, predictions, and summaries using internal AI models.
- These processed outputs (not raw data) may be shared with:
- Clinical Organizations
- End users (e.g., patients)
- These insights are designed to support clinical understanding and decision-making.
Explicit Non-Sharing Commitment
- We do not share data with advertisers.
- We do not share data with unauthorized third parties.
- We do not sell data to external third parties.
Data Storage and Security
- Data is securely stored on servers located in the United States
- We implement industry-standard safeguards, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- Access controls and authentication mechanisms
- Audit logging and monitoring
Regulatory and Medical Use
Amahealth's NewDate™ is being developed as a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and is pursuing regulatory clearance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The platform is intended to support clinical insights and decision making, but does not replace professional medical judgment. Users should always consult qualified healthcare providers for medical advice.
User Participation and Consent

- Participation is voluntary
Consent
- Users will be required, where applicable, to review and provide consent to:

Third-Party Services
Amahealth integrates with third-party wearable providers. Their data collection, storage, and transmission practices are governed by their respective privacy policies and are outside our control prior to data ingestion.
Limitations of Use
Amahealth and its affiliated products and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy.
We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.
